Various Therapeutic services are essential for these children because many associated disabilities like speech problems , loco motor disabilities gross motor and fine motors impairments , hyperactivity etc. are seen in this children for the better handling of these children various therapies are available here.
Speech pathology and Audiology
Training in this unit is mainly given for children who have hearing problem and those who require speech and language training. After conducting detailed assessment children are given intervention according to individual needs.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is given for improving their motor development especially posture and movement. Various kind of therapeutic equipments and Techniques are available for the effective training of students.
Awareness programmes
Awareness about the nature and management of children with differently abled are provided to parents , siblings and community members in time to time. Parents and family members are given guidance to cope with crisis situation. Medical camps and rural camps are organized for reaching unreached
Vocational training units
we provide trainging in Book binding, Foot valve fitting and packing, Soap powder making, Envelop making, Paper bag, Vegetable Cultivation, Garden setting, Tailoring,Computer training
Staff
The Teaching staff includes Special Educators, Medical Doctors , Social workers, Speech pathologist and audiologists , physiotherapist , occupational therapist ,Health care nurses , Instructors for band, dance , music and physical education, Vocational Instructors .
Non Residential & Residential School
227 students nonresidential .It is residential school for differently abled girls children between the age group of 8 t0 18 .Now it has a strength of 20 students .Many of them need to be cared for all their daily routine activities like brushing , toileting, bathing etc. We are bound to train and make them independent in their life .There are specially trained teachers for the training programme . They are giving training in self help skills , academic skills and vocational training
